HSD at the EMO 2025

50 years of innovation, passion and success – ever since the first show in Paris half a century ago, the EMO has been considered “the place to be” in international metalworking – HSD cannot miss this. The spindle specialist will showcase a representative selection from its portfolio at the 2025 EMO, highlighting its capacity as a competent system provider for electric spindles, 2-axis heads, swivel tables and drill heads. Expo visitors can explore various technologies that offer them concrete solutions for their everyday production and meet daily operational requirements. Robust, precise and thermally stable – customers and partners can put the Italian manufacturer’s heads, spindles and tables through the paces and receive individual and detailed advice from competent staff, including demonstrations of the manufacturer’s innovative products, for example the enhanced ES1000 GO series: the new spindles are identical in construction to the well-known ES1000 series, but they are standardised in regard to feature options – and thus offer an even better price–performance ratio.
Showcases also include the latest ES10 Line and ES6000 electric spindles, which HSD has developed with the specific requirements of customers in mind. Both these cutting-edge series are able to adapt to the diverse needs of users and to the ever-increasing pace of the market. The ES10 high-tech spindle stands out for its smart options for challenging milling processes. The horizontal ES6000 has been specially tailored to the automotive industry, its design and sensor technology achieving even better performance and reliability. Also on display, the compact, precise and powerful ES510 electric spindle has versatile applications, including demanding machining tasks. Visitors are especially invited to inspect the compact, fast and precise HST610 2-axis milling head for gigacasting applications.

Focusing on future digital trends and Industry 4.0, HSD presents a device for connecting its electric spindles to the myHSD IoT platform via a series of sensors. This in-house development contributes to innovative manufacturing processes and makes them more efficient and effective. The device increases productivity and quality by detecting errors at an early stage and minimising downtime. The software is specifically designed to reduce maintenance costs and analyse data in real-time to improve processes and optimise maintenance through timely notifications and problem-solving procedures.
